Reporting, Partner-Portal and Digital archive executions

Below are some of the projects implemented by PLM-Zone for its customers in the manufacturing industry. The implementations have brought additional functionalities onto the existing PLM system, where the implemented functionalities were either missing, other proposed solutions were not cost-effective or the usability didn’t meet the customer's requirements. Below are some implemented examples.


Our reporting solution improves instructions quality and saves time

Producing customized installation instructions and drawings for service, end users, or sales is a time-consuming task, and documentation may contain outdated product data. The product data is up-to-date in sales and product development systems, but this data is not always passed on without manual work. With the Zone Viewer reporting solution, all product related data on products and devices will automatically be updated in operating and installation instructions.

Partner Portal

Our Partner Portal solution is designed for product information (BOMs, drawings, 3D models, etc.) distribution solution that serves subcontractors, suppliers, authorities and end customers. The user can easily find the documentation that belongs to him/her from the portal and is able to download the necessary data. The solution also improves information security when external users don’t have direct access to the data source (PLM, ERP etc.).

The portal can be used to communicate, for example, changes in product development with automatic alerts. The portal works in both directions, meaning that partners can also propose changes or add documents (certificates, drawings, instructions, etc.) via the portal, from which they can be transferred to the desired system (PLM, ERP, etc.) through a separate approval process.

Digital archive

Our digital archive solution enables, for example, in a system change or update, to archive existing old data that, for one reason or another, is not desired or able to be transferred to the new environment. The transferred data is typically no longer maintained, but the data must be available for warranty or other reasons.

Data can be found quickly in the digital archive solution using indexed searches. The solution naturally also offers user rights management.
